The many varied tribes that form the Free Folk of the land beyond the Wall rarely find reason to stand united unless it's against interlopers from the South. While their troops tend to be savage and undisciplined, the tribal leaders keep them united and facing the enemy, whipping them into frothing frenzy and ready to rend steel and flesh with their bare hands, if need be.
