Self-propelled Anti-aircraft Gun: 1 vehicle, with heads for cast in turret crew.

Swedish company Landsverk developed L-62 design during 1941-42 by lengthening the hull of the L-60/m-36 tank (see HU010 Toldi) and mounting the excellent 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft cannon (40 ItK/38).

Finland bought six Landsverk Anti-II anti-aircraft vehicles from Sweden in 1942. In May they were assigned to the Anti-aircraft battery of the Armoured Brigade.

During the summer 1944 battles the battery downed eleven Soviet aircraft and prevented air-attacks against the Armoured Brigade.

The Finns continued to use Landsverk Anti-II until 1966.

    In Flames Of War

The Landsverk Anti-II is an excellent mobile anti-aircraft weapon, though only lightly armed and armoured can hold its own against light armour. It is mobile (Fully-tracked) and well armed (40mm 36M Bofors gun: Range 24"/60cm, ROF 4, AT 6, FP 4+) and its armour is enough to protect it from light weapons (Front 2, Side 1, Top 0).
